Administration & Purchasing
Tom Church President tomc@advantagesteelservice.com Tom Church has 40 years experience in steel and aluminum fabrication. He started in a sheet metal company making louvers and gutters as a tinsmith. Because of his time in the shop, he has extensive experience in layout and forming steel. His responsibilities focused on inventory control. Tom believes that a very strong customer relationship is the key ingredient to success.	Claude Cain Vice President claude@advantagesteelservice.com Claude has 32 years of experience in steel fabrication. He is now the vice president of Advantage Steel Service but started as a welder. He has worked in the shipping department, painting, and as a lead man. Claude then went on to become a shop foreman. He has experience in all aspects of the company and takes an interest in teaching his employees all that he knows.	Sherry Nickison Bookkeeper/Payroll sherryn@advantagesteelservice.com Our accounting department has 17 years experience in the steel industry, general construction and sub-contracting.

Structural-Plate Sales, Estimating-Project Management
Jesse Carbajal sales@advantagesteelservice.com Jesse has 22 years experience in the steel industry. He is now in the sales department but started in 1987 as a shear operator helper. After three months he became a shear operator for three years. Then, for 16 years, he was foreman to the shear and break department. Because of his experience in the shop, Jesse has an understanding of the different material used and the labor process. He is familiar with and can operate every machine used in a typical steel shop.	Mike Meals Plate sales sales@advantagesteelservice.com Mike has 15 years of experience in steel industry. He has worked in the shipping department and has served as a burn department supervisor. He is now in the front office as a salesman.	Pat Birdwell structural sales patb@advantagesteelservice.com Pat has 24 years experience in steel fabrication. His job duties have included estimating, detailing, purchasing, job scheduling, and production scheduling. Pat has also worked as a warehouse manager at a ceiling fan company for 10 years.
